well, I've kept hammies before ... and you may recall that my
landlord in canada had a white mouse named poh, whom I fed beer and
johnny walker to ....
so it's hard for me to think of them as food for other pets
..
I kept hammies before too
I had 4 of them too (think their names were Goldy, Snowy,
Pudding & (I forgot))
But I have no problems thinking of them as food for other
pets
I see them as part of the food chain
Like if my Gulpers eat one of my asspensive fish, I'll bitch but
I won't blame the Gulper because that is their nature and the fish
that got eaten ...well it belongs to the lower end of the food
chain
